Our members served in silence. Due to the classified nature of our work, our motto had become “We aren’t here. We were never there. We don’t exist.” However, after about 40 years of silence, the classification of our missions was downgraded, and we could tell our families what we had been doing for four years of our lives. We served as tactical support for the National Security Agency in the gathering and analyzing of Signals Intelligence and providing Communications Security for allied troops.
